I'm getting the following message when TurboTax checks my refund:
"You’ve entered income from your self-employment business but no expenses have been claimed. If you did incur expenses, please go back and enter them. Claiming the expenses you paid to do your work will help in lowering your taxes."
All possible expenses are entered. I only chose the ones that I had expenses for, and there is a $ amount in each.
I'm getting this on both my return and my husbands.
On the page where you are reviewing this warning you can choose whether the warning applies to you or to ignore it. If you are sure that you've entered all expenses, click "Ignore" and the warning should disappear. You can also double-check whether the expenses have been applied against your self-employment income.
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
