Hi i have verified that my T4 , has a Box 16 not empty , but the 16 A is empty , i have even tried different combinations , either empty or not empty :  it still gives the same error codes and i am unable to Netfile , it is not working , 

error codes always and i was locked for the second time to Netfile from the CRA after 5 attempts , it is a coding error

I just got off the phone with Turbo Tax technical support. They do a screen share. What happened is that I had a RL1 (releve 1) for Quebec but an empty T4 from the same employer. Doing the addition in one RL1/T4 instead of 2 fixed it. Apparently its a bug that creates that issue. If you have the same employer and have two T4, only do one, it should resolve the issue. If not contact them and they will walk through the issue with you.

I have tried everything mentioned and after 4 attempts, I am still getting this error message. What should I do? @TurboTaxAniqua @TurboTaxSusan

@firo30 That error Code is from CRA. We are waiting for a fix. After 5, attempts, your account will get locked. You might have to Print & Mail your return to CRA.

So, to be clear (this after spending an hour with two techs at TurboTax), the best advice from TurboTax is to print and mail the return? If so, is there some reason your agents are not providing this advice directly via the Help service?

@firo30 Is your province of employment Quebec? If not, remove amounts in box 17 on the T4 if your province of employment is not QC.

Hi your tech support is aware of this problem and it has nothing to do with Boxes 17 , 17A , 16 or 16 A , she even logged in to my account and verified that everything is ok from my end and it was not the numbers , it is a coding error in the program and it was escalated and i am still waiting for a response . I had to print and mail it , error 84 is a software problem and not a CRA problem . Thank you

So is this confirmed - this is a CRA issue and not a Turbo Tax issue - please confirm? I paid for the ability to file using Turbo Tax, and I the suggestion is to print and mail it in - I think I would like a refund, how do I go about seeking that?  This will affect by ability to file on time.

From my understanding, it's a TurboTax issue, it's not generating the return properly. I had the same issue, it let me file QC but not CRA with the same error code. I made an entirely new tax return with TurboTax and the exact same thing happened again. I tried Wealthsimple and it worked. I'd suggest trying them if you can. It seems TurboTax doesn't care about this, it's been happening since February.
