I encountered same error with T1198 form online. I quadruple checked my addition and amounts on the forms and tried re-entering zeros in unused boxes. I wasted another 25 minutes (add that to last week's time wasted) trying to troubleshoot errors in Turbotax software and I have already submitted payment. I am very frustrated with the errors and delays this year. I have used Turbotax for over a decade and used to recommend to colleagues and family. I will likely look for an alternative next year.

It's NOT resolved for the online version. You can't get past the form - the boxes that you MUST fill in don't add up properly. I'm stuck in a loop. All because I wasn't paid interest on my lump-sum payments. NO ONE IS ANSWERING MY QUESTION ABOUT IT!

The desktop version allows me to enter T1198 in forms method but it will not let me put the year as 2024, only 2023 or before.
