My son is 10 month old. His birth date was 2019 MAY 15th. My input was 15/05/2019. I kept getting an error message.

The system seems to have trouble if I enter 2019 as birth year.

You should be able to add your dependants born on the same tax year or prior. Unless you are filing 2018 or earlier income tax returns first. In this case, you don't add your son as a dependant yet until you reach the 2019 tax return. 

If you are using the online version --> open the drop-down menu on the left side under "my info" --> add your son in the "Dependant information" section

If you are using the Desktop version --> open the drop-down menu on the left side under "Introduction" --> add your son in the "Dependants" section
