RPP Contribution

Hi, 

I want to know if my NOA says my RRSP limit is say $10,000

I have contributed say $5000 to company's RPP

Can I still buy $10000 RRSP or my RRSP room is reduced to $5000 because of my RPP contribution?

Please note, the $5000 RPP contribution is my contribution, my employer also matches.

Yes, your RPP contributions (and the amount your employer contributes) do lower your RRSP contribution room. So yo may not have any room left to contribute right now, if both you and your employer have both contributed $5000.
