SIN for my (soon to be ex) spouse is correct but it is saying it's invalid. WHY and how can I proceed to next screen?

Please select everything that is in the SIN box and delete it. Then re-type the SIN, making sure to use only numbers and no special characters or spaces. There should be total of 9 numbers. Ex: 123456789
