It depends on what's on the returns. If they are eligible to use the Free version of TurboTax Do It Yourself (Online), then that would be the cheapest way. Please see this TurboTax Canada FAQ for more information on who can use Free: Who can file for free using TurboTax?

If they don't qualify for TurboTax Do It Yourself (Online) Free, then TurboTax Desktop Basic includes 4 returns (with net income greater than $25,000) for $27 (plus tax). When you finish the returns on one license, you can get another one. But you need to have a Windows PC (Windows 11 recommended). Also, you need to be comfortable using the CRA forms, as Basic doesn't have the EasyStep Interview like our other products do.
