They are not interested. Its bad . Quality is going down, should be easier from year to year. They put their money in gizmos to advise 🙂 waste of time . Next year we should know what to do . Still issues at 13 days from last day cheers

Unfortunately, we have no way of testing the auto-fill function here in community, and we also can't see what's happening when you do it on your return. So, to trouble shoot his further, you would need to call phone support, or I can request that someone call you instead.

Same problem here. Received only one T5 and one T3. Idem with Revenu Québec.

I reached Intuit on Facebook. As recommended, I changed and tried with 3 different browsers and erased caches and cookies. They finaly answered to fill manually. No expectation that they correct the problem.

I also tried new installations with my and other computers.

I am from QC and using Win11, Turbotax Standard Download version v. 10.01.81 (numĂ©ro 8002) .

Thanks for reporting your support experience.  That is the most useful reply in this thread, confirming that there is a problem for many people.

From my perspective, I suspect a problem related to the quantity of slips or slips coming from multiple sources.

I did my father’s report yesterday on my same software and computer, and with 3 or 4 documents to upload, it did work… but it missed one really important information (Quebec source deduction) that I had to enter manually.  Consequently, from this experience, even when it works, could be reliability issues ?

Importing your data

Hi!  Been using TurboTax for years...  Yearly, I have had to import 103 slips T5008 for a member of my family.

Last year (tax year 2024), it worked so-so: I had to complete missing information for some (such as the type of securities and the quantities) and the sell date for all 103 slips.  I reported the issue, but went ahead thinking that getting 80% of the data was better than getting none.

This year, the "feature" imports only one slip (the last one) of the 103 slips, and partially at that!!!

The problem is the same with CRA and Revenu Québec.

Intuit did not fix the problem: it seems they made it worse!  Is there a solution other than calling the help line???

Using: downloaded version TurboImpĂ´t De luxe 2025 for 8, Version 10.01.81 (numĂ©ro 8002) 068G26

Yesterday, I called customer service and, by sharing my screen (using a TurboTax feature—they only see the software screen), the agent clearly saw the problem.
But Intuit blame the federal and provincial websites for the problem. That’s impossible with both websites.
Furthermore, other users didn’t have the problem when they switched to a different
tax software program to do their import.
That’s what I’m going to do because they couldn’t tell me that TurboTax acknowledges the
problem and is trying to fix it. I’m going to request a refund for TurboTax Desktop, but I was warned that, since I’ve already filed other returns, my request will be denied.

PS In this other thread, Intuit says that the “online” version is more likely to encounter an
issue with importing multiple forms: https://turboimpot.community.intuit.ca/turbotax-support/fr-ca/help-article/canada-revenue-agency/com...

@user17768015713 For T5008, you can group them together and enter just the totals manually. That way you don't have to go through 100+ slips to select the income type and enter a date of disposition.
