Troubleshooting
Expenses related to a home workspace can be included on line 22900.
To deduct work from the home expense, please follow these steps:
- On your T4 slip Employment Income scroll down to the bottom where you will be asked: Will you claim employment expenses for working at home due to COVID-19 for income on this T4? NEW! Please say YES;
- Go to Employment Expenses found lower in the menu on the left side of the screen;
- On the Employment Expenses Profile page, choose the option that is appropriate to you;
- On the next screen, check the flat rate method or detailed method.
For more information about the flat or detailed method, please follow this link How to claim- Home expense
Note: CRA allows all employees who worked from home during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 to claim up to $400 in employment expenses at a flat rate. This amount is a tax deduction and not a credit, which means you deduct it from your income to reduce your tax liability but will not result in a refund.
Thank you for using TurboTax.

@RSanch You can add the deduction to the returns for those years.
You can make changes after you have filed your tax return through the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) or through ReFILE. This FAQ has more information: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/community/tax-return-amendment/help/i-have-filed-my-tax-return-...
