Won't accept my credit card

Screen Shot 2022-09-16 at 23.28.23.pngI've reached the last step before netfiling, paying for an upgraded form because of interest income (seems to be a new requirement this year, but okay). I entered my credit card information and Turbotax said my card was not accepted and I should review my address. I tried revising the address a couple times and received same notification. However my credit statement shows each of these attempts as pending charges. I hope I can dispute the charges, but even so, I still cannot finish with filing my return if the website is broken and will not register my card.

I called the suggested number and just an automated voice telling me they will send information to my email.  They just keep sending me the same number.  I want to be able to talk to a person as to why you will not accept my credit card information.  It shows 7 times as pending charges on my card.  I've called the card company and they say there is no problem! Frustrating!!

Sorry to hear about the issue you are having. When you contact our phone support team at 1-888-289-8608 it will ask the reason for your call. Please say "speak to an agent" instead of saying the issue.

TurboTax accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. You will not be charged for something that wasn't purchased, the amount will drop off your credit card. Can you please try purchasing through one of our online retailers in which your credit card may be accepted. https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tax/software/where-to-buy

Hello

I am having the same issue with 2024 tax declaration, my declaration is ready to be send still only have to pay 45 $  for premier version of turbotax

Any time I type my credit card information and click pay it says that I should verify my card information including my address.

Tried many times and made sure that all information is correct.

Even I tried a different card with different bank.

Any time I click on pay my bank charge me and get a credit right away with the same amount.

Checked with my bank and they told me since I am been charged successfully means that all is good in their side and I have to check with turbo tax that may be blocking my account.

I called turbo tax twice and they shared my screen and they find no problem. And felt like they do not have more information other then what I have already.

And the last suggestion from your agent was that I buy turbo tax from an online retailer than adding the digital key to my declaration but I wasn’t able to find 1 declaration product, they are all for many declarations.

For your information I am using my both credit card on websites to buy staff with same information.

What browser are you using? Have you tried clearing cookies' n cache? If not please give that a try. 

Yes, there is no one declaration Retail product but the cost is less for the Retail products compare to the direct online purchase.

Thank you for answering me,

I was able to solve the issue by using another credit card and by changing my mailing address on my tax return to match my credit card billing address.

Edited my mailing address and saved it than went back to the File section and made the payment.

After the payment has been approved, went back to My Info and changed the address back to the original.
