Troubleshooting

Did you select the option to submit your return using NETFILE? You can't set up or change your direct deposit info when you choose to submit your return by NETFILE.

You can:

  1. Update your direct deposit info directly with the CRA before you file, using CRA My Account (https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/about-canada-revenue-agency-cra/direct-deposit.html)
  2. Choose to print and mail your return (when you chose this option in TurboTax, TurboTax will prompt you for your direct deposit info)

Typically, option 1 is better because your return will be processed sooner so you'll get your refund faster.
