Troubleshooting
Thanks for the suggestions, especially @TooBusyForThis . Just to say: on Windows 11 I downloaded the new VC runtime as suggested, but still no luck, whether I run as regular user or as Administrator. And I am using the latest TurboTax download as well.
It is very disappointing, that a major software company selling important software can't get their program to run on a standard Windows 11 laptop.

Troubleshooting
Hi Brenda, I am using the desktop application so I don't think Edge or Chrome has anything to do with this problem. The only thing I used a browser for was to download the installer.

@TomWaterloo Have you tried just moving your mouse over the blank screen to see if you can find the box to enter the code by seeing the mouse cursor change?

Troubleshooting
ensure your temp folder exists and the drive where your temp folder resides is not full.
right click on "This PC" from your desktop, then select "Advanced system settings" under "Related Settings" on the right, then under "System Properties", "Advanced" tab, select "Environment Variables", under both "User variables for [your user name]" and "System variables", look under the Variable column and find "TEMP" or "TMP", then make sure the "Value" is pointing to a folder that 1)exists, 2)have remaining storage spaces <-- I suggest minimum 1GB. (prefer anything upward of 5GB)

Has anyone figured out this issue? As I am having this problem with TT2024. Simply will not open and I do not want to buy Windows 11 Pro if it is also not going to work.
Any suggestions will help as I have removed it from my computer to redownload, I have restarted my computer multiple times, nothing seems to help this issue.

Troubleshooting
@fxley Please try running the program as an Administrator. To do this, right click on the program icon. Also please check that there is no anti-malware or firewall blocking TurboTax from running.
