Are you using TurboTax Desktop or TurboTax Online? 

I am using the online version 

You can do this by clicking on Tax Home on the left side menu, then click on your Husband’s name at the top of the page to select him. Then select Tax Profile from the items on the Tax Home page. Then click on the Your Tax Profile link. Continue through the pages until you get to the “[Spouse Name] let's see if there's anything else to add” page. On this page you’ll see the option to select “I have a mental or physical disability”. If that is checked off it will also show an option for the Canada Caregiver Amount, which you can uncheck.

Did that, but the program is still putting the caregiver amount in no matter how many times I uncheck the box
