FHSA Deduction Page doesn't let me input zero for difference carried forward and available to be claimed next tax year.
On the FHSA dedution page in Easy Step, I have $16,000 under "Maximum available for 2024" that I want to fully carry over to 2025. However underneath is "If you wish to claim less than the maximum amount above, enter it here. The difference will be carried forward and available to be claimed next tax year" The problem is the box beside it , so I can't carry over the $16,000. It will let me input anything from $.01 to $16,000 just fine however. When will this be fixed?

Hey there. (I incorrectly answered the question earlier - thought it was to do with something else). The error is STILL THERE! 3 weeks until tax deadline and we still can't input $0.00 in this box. Turbotax please get your act together!!

Troubleshooting
I have just updated the software and the issue is still there . I cannot input 0 .. it assumes the field is empty and uses the whole amount as a deduction .. the minimum I am forced to enter is .01. This is not correct

Troubleshooting
Hard to believe it's still not resolved by TurboTax. The response above from TurboTax stating they are working on it "in conjunction with the CRA" is ridiculous, as it's simply a software error on TurboTax's side of things. Nothing to do with the CRA! I'm really disappointed with TurboTax this year because of this and the many other errors.

Troubleshooting
If you wish to claim no deduction for your 2024 FHSA contributions and carry the entire amount forward to next year, you can override the calculated field at line 43 of Schedule 15.
Follow these steps:
- Select Forms on the toolbar
- If you're in Forms mode, press CTRL+F to open the Form Search, then enter S15 or Schedule 15 and open the form.
- Scroll down to Line 43 and select it.
- Press F2 to initiate the override.
- Select Yes.
- Enter $0 in the field. The text will be red to indicate the field is overridden.
- The full amount available for deduction should now show up at Line 44 to be carried forward to next year.
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
