Error code TT808 loading software

How do I fix error code TT808 unable to determine if an update is available? I have been trying to use my 2024 premium edition desktop version but keep getting this same error message.  This was working fine a couple of weeks ago.

Same problem. Contacted support. Waiting on a call that they tried to charge me for. Walked away from computer & instead of a call they had set me up with another chatbot. Then sent me a survey. Of course you have to sign up for $90/mth to get support on the product I had for 4 days. Apparently some guy will call. I’ll update this if he calls & I get it resolved.

Please try reinstalling the software. It will not delete any of your existing returns.

I can re-install, but FYI my prior 2 packages (2023 and 2022) are having the same problem.  I tried going into them to see if I could isolate the problem,  so I am concerned that this will not resolve the problem.  

 

I also temporarily halted my anti-virus software and that didn't resolve the problem.
