@todd-kim There is no way to transfer or open TurboTax Canada Online returns in TurboTax Canada Desktop. 

Turbotax requires a fix to this issue.

This makes all the sense in the world.  In this day and age, Intuit's claimed inability to convert the online tax file to .tt24 and send it to their customers (who own that data!!) is not only incredible but I find that impossible.  Yet when first going to the online version it requires conversion and upload of your desktop file!!  I think the reason for this is to keep all users on the online version so that Intuit can analyze and sell your personal data!  What other reason can there be for this?  Unable to convert data to a .tt24 file?  Absolutely ridiculous especially as the US version can do it.

You really need to make it possible to transfer or at least export a .ttxx file from the Online version.  So much more work to start taxes without this file... Terrible decision in buying Turbo tax online...

@vephoto Unfortunately, you can't import your previous year's taxes data from TurboTax Online to TurboTax Desktop. TurboTax Online can't export anything other than a PDF file, and TurboTax Desktop can't open PDF files. Only .ttxx files. Your feedback is noted and will be passed on to the assigned department.
