If your NETFILE/REFILE account has been locked, you will need to contact the CRA. NETFILE/REFILE is a service provided by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), not by TurboTax. TurboTax has no control over the CRA's servers, so we can't unlock it for you.

If you are in Canada or the United States, you can call the CRA at 1-800-959-8281. If you are elsewhere, you can call 613-940-8495. This page has more ways to contact the CRA: Contact the Canada Revenue Agency

I have checked with the CRA and they confirm my accouynt is not locked. However, I still get the message that I am locked out. CRA says it must be the TurboTax software that is causing the error. I am able to manually log into my CRA account.

@ericdamkjar What is the error message that you are getting?

You don't need a CRA account to use NETFILE.

I am getting error code 615 for my husband refile. But, I’ve already filed his taxes and there were no changes to his, I had to refile mine with a new T5. Do I need to refile his? Or now that I’ve tried to refile will I have to? He technically has already recieved a notice of assessment from the return I already filed for him, just no refund yet.

You do not need to refile your husband's return if there are not changes. You can verify on his refund by going to his MyAccount if needed.

Okay thank you. So since then, he’s received his notice of assessment as of March 21st but still hasn’t received his refund. But on his account it doesn’t show that he’s missing anything or needed to submit anything else. So on my end do we just wait for the refund to be sent? It has already taken more than 2 weeks from when we submitted.

If you had Direct Deposit set up with the CRA you should have received the refund by now. If they sent the check by post, you should receive it soon. You can verify on his refund by going to his MyAccount if needed or by calling the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) at 1-800-959-8281.

On his account it says reassessment in progress as of March 12th. Even though the notice of assessment came electronically on March 21st. He also has direct deposit set up so it shouldn’t be coming by cheque. Should we wait and see or should we call the CRA?

A call to the CRA may clear things up.
