Direct sales industry code is 454300 per CRA for the T2125 C form but yet it keeps giving me an error code

I have only used the online version and it will not let me use the code that is needed.

Please note that the CRA update the codes and if you are a direct seller, from now on you will choose the closest code to as a retailer would for what you sell. Therefore the codes with the 454- are not longer valid.  I hope this helps.

When will Industry Code for direct sales or network marketing be fixed please?  This is very annoying!

I tried your suggestions and picked many different codes and turbo tax still shows an error. Please fix and update your software that we pay for!!! Why are you not doing this, when so many are reporting the same issue? When I pick the code turbo tax wants then the CRA doesn’t accept, quoting the error, when I use the code CRA wants turbo tax won’t submit saying there is an error. There must be someone in the IT department that can fix this. Common already, this is madness…

Codes 454300 & 454390 will no longer work. Direct Sellers must now choose codes based on what they are selling.

Thank you @TurboTaxSusan. Will these new industry codes work, e.g., 456191, if using TurboTax to netfile prior year returns, e.g  2020, 2021? If not, what will work for direct selling to netfile prior years' returns with TurboTax?

I tried these different codes as suggested and still received an error code from turbo tax. Now what???  I have  2 different home based business, please suggest codes to try for Fifth Avenue Jewelry and Melaleuca.

When using Industry Code 456191 for direct sales with LifeVantage they are now asking to enter GST account #

We do not need a GST account!!!
