How to save return as a .tax file in online 2026?

In 2025 there was an option "Tax Tools" where you could save the return as a atax file and then continue on the desktop version with that file. It appears to be missing in 2026 and I can not find any alternative?

All i am able to do is save as a PDF which is not helpful.

There must be another way?

Tax Tools and ".tax" files are part of the US version of TurboTax, not the Canadian one. There is no way to open or import TurboTax Do It Yourself (Online) files in TurboTax Desktop in the Canadian versions.
