I bought a new macbook for work in 2019. I claimed it on my 2019 taxes, can it be claimed in 2020 as its sole purpose is for work?

Thank you for choosing TurboTax. If you have already claimed the purchase price of the macbook in 2019 and there is no repair expense for 2020 then you can not claim it. In case you are self-employed and you bought a new charger or an extension for your macbook then those expenses can be claimed under supplies. In case you are employeed then your expenses you calim has to be approved by your employer.
