I keep getting an error that my province of self employment doesnt match my province of residence. i am not self employed nor do i indicate it anywhere. what the hell

Thank you for your question.

 

TurboTax could be telling you that you are self-employed because you have income in certain boxes on slips. For example, if you have any amount in box 20 or 48 of a T4A, the CRA says that income would be self-employment income.

 

Also, you can simply enter your own name as your business name and your home address as your business address only and continue.
