If you receive options from a Canadian controlled private corporation, you do not have to declare them when you exercise the options. Instead, you wait until you sell the options, and you report them on the tax return you file for that year.
How do I find 24900 or how to enter the Security Options Deduction as I can’t locate corresponding field at other deduction at Turbotax
how do I report the tax return for selling CCPC shares then? do I enter income from other incomes? how about security option deductions as I can't locate the fields on turbotax?
