How come my federal tax information is not be deduced from my income summary?
It's hard to tell what's going on in situations like this when we can't see your return.
A trick that might help is to have a look at your completed tax forms and see if you can figure out what's amiss. Not to worry about jumping ahead in your return to see the forms as the instructions that follow suggest; you can jump back and change your return as much as you need to until you file.
