How should I change a home business to contract work?

I was teaching drum lessons from my home. Now, I teach out of a music studio. Should I delete the previous home business or change it somehow?

No, as it is the same business, just a different venue.  You will have a few different deductions, and probably no home office deductions.  All else remains the same.
