Can you please confirm which TurboTax software did you choose to use?
It is likely their new software that forces you to upgrade when you shouldn't need to. You may need to start from scratch and try again. I'm not pleased with this years version and only realized that I was upgraded to Premium after the fact (We didn't need the premium version). This will likely be my last year with TurboTax, maybe go check out the competitor's website, it seems to work better.
My issue was resolved very quickly by Turbo Tax customer service. If you feel you have been overcharged or charged incorrectly they will refund. Very positive experience with Turbo Tax.
