During Installation of Turbo Tax 2020 it asks for a sixteen digit License code. I have a thirteen digit License code. How do I proceed?

It comes with a 16-digit code. If you purchased TurboTax software from a retailer you would find this code on a little card in the box that you would scratch off.

I did purchase from a Retailer and I did find the code inside the box.  It is a thirteen(13) Digit Code and not a sixteen (16) digit code.  How do I exchange my thirteen(13) digit code and get a sixteen(16) digit one so I may complete the installation?

Please verify that you are looking at the right license code: Where is my TurboTax license code?

It is not that difficult.  The Retail box contains the CD in a sleeve and the Card that has the Activation/License code on it clearly identified.  It states "Important! This is your license code:" then four(4) digits a hyphen then five(5) digits a hyphen and four(4) digits.  So how do I acquire a sixteen(16) digit License Code to use the software?

Technically No it is not resolved,  The solution is that, I will have to purchase another Copy with a new License Code.

If you purchased it at a retailer- you can return it to them and advise them of the issue.

That is really not an option since they would like to see the receipt.
