How do I change the TurboTax product I selected?

Unfortunately, once you have upgraded or added features to your TurboTax return, there is no way to downgrade or remove the extra features. You would need to create a new return to go back to the original product. 

 

To start a new return, select “Start a New Return” from under “My Returns” in the top left corner. Once you have started your new return, you can select “View All Returns” from under “My Accounts & Returns”. Then delete the unwanted return by clicking the small Trash Can next to it or “Delete” under the return’s name.

How do I change the TurboTax product I selected?

Unfortunately, there is no way to downgrade a TurboTax product once you have upgraded it. You would need to create a new return and choose a lower version. You can use any version to prepare all returns, if you start with the Standard version and then feel you would like more guidance, you can always upgrade and your information will carry over to the upgraded version. 

Once you have started your new return, you can click on "View all tax returns" and click the small Trash Can next to the unwanted return to delete it.
