You can enter an estimate for their income to continue with your return, and then go back and enter the real number before you file.
no you cant, I have tried 100 different numbers and it wont let me move ahead. it keeps telling me theres an error that needs correcting before i proceed.
I have the exact same question! I am trying to do my taxes right now, and my husband and I separated in August 2024 and they are asking for this information from the 2024 tax return that I cannot answer because we have not filed our 2024 tax returns, obviously. How the heck do we do this? Makes absolutely no sense!
