Where in turbotax do I indicate expenses incurred related to the research grant that I received (as per box 104 from T4A)?

To do this in TurboTax Online, search for “other” on the Tax Home page (2024 tax return on the left), and select “Other Employment Expenses”. There you can enter your expenses at the bottom of the page.

You might need to upgrade in order to enter your employment expenses.
