Why is it more expensive online this year

@sbw1171 Each version of TurboTax Do It Yourself (Online) supports different things. If you enter something that's not supported by your current version, you are asked to upgrade. You can see what each version supports on our website: https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tax/software/online

The moderator reply directed me to a website pricing list where the most expense "do it yourself" version was $25 less than what I was charged.  So this is not a helpful reply and misleading as well.  This still does not explain why my return cost almost double than it did last year, with no appreciable difference in my lifestyle or situation.

The reason why you were charged more this year is that you purchased TurboTax Assist & Review Premier Online 2025. Whereas last year you purchased TurboTax Premier Online.
