Yes, you can. Login to TurboTax Online, and on the black menu bar select "Update Account" from the "Tools" menu. Then click "Edit" next to your current User ID to change it.

There is no "Tools" menu on the black menu bar.

These directions are for TY2019. To change your User ID, login to TurboTax Online then click on "Continue" beside a return. On the black menu bar on the left, scroll down to the bottom and select "Account settings", then click on "Edit" beside your "User ID" on the right.

To change your User ID sign in TurboTax Community and click on your profile picture at the top right.

You will then choose Settings followed by Personal on the left-hand side and then Username. From

there you can make your changes.
