Can I transfer my dads disability tax credit if I take care of him 50% of the time and do not live with them?

If I take care of my dad 50% of the time but do not live with them but I take him to all his appointments, help him at home, etc. He was approved for the Disability Tax Credit but his income does not meet the threshold. Can he transfer the unused credits to me, and do we need to contact Revenue Canada to do that?

Yes, if your father depends on your for financial support and you can declare him as a dependant, then you can also transfer his DTC to your return. Note, your name has to be on his DTC certificate to claim the transfer.
