How can transfer 2015 info t0 2016 with standard version?

To transfer from the 2015 CD/Download version of TurboTax into the 2016 CD/Download version of TurboTax, you're 2015 file (*.TT15) needs to be on the machine you're running TurboTax 2016 on. TurboTax saves your tax returns files to your the 'Documents/TurboTax/2015/' folder of your computer by default.

When you run TurboTax 2016, TurboTax searches for prior year returns on your machine and lists them for you on the start-up screen. Just select the the 'Transfer into new 2016 return' button next to your return from last year and get started.

If TurboTax was unable to find prior year returns, you can browse for them by selecting the 'Browse' button on the start-up screen.

why does Turbotax continue to post this answer and not correct it to say that you cannot transfer 2015 to 2016 till mid-March?

The transfer from TurboTax CD/Download editions to TurboTax Online editions will be available in a couple of weeks.

Transfer from Online to Online and CD/Download to CD/Download is currently available.

All i know is that i continue to get a spinning star saying "Saving your information ..." and nothing more when i try to transfer online to online - March 7, 2017.  It simply does not work!  Please advise when online to online transfer will work.
