Hello.
I've been purchasing TurboTax for years and have found it to be an effective tool for myself and my family... Until now.
This year (2019 tax) my employer decided to issue .atf files to everyone as they use quickbooks and thought it would be easy.
Here I go, on the weekend to do my taxes - and there's no way to import the file.
Further to this, CRA doesn't have my T4 on file to import... so i'm stuck without my T4 info.
I assume it is because CRA has other T4's to import and haven't gotten around to mine yet, hence its lack of availability online.
I'm using the desktop version of Standard.
My web searches for this feature shows it was available in previous versions - why is it pulled out here?
Suffice to say, i'm a little disappointed in Intuit today.
Little help?
Update:
After speaking with a telephone agent - the feature is only available to the most expensive version of TurboTax.
Thanks.
We live in a convenience society i suppose.
i LOVE buying a product to find out its a freemium platform. Am i going to accumulate gems and watch ads next year after each 'easy step'?
"Your next step is only 3 ads away, or spend 100 gems to E-File now!"
