I am trying to import 2019 tax data into TurboTax Home & Business for Mac from Quicken for Mac. Both are up to date. It is supposed to save time but I am concluding it flat does not work. Two immediate problems.
1. All real estate taxes were imported to primary home. TurboTax supports multiple homes but the import process does not.
2. Same thing with 8829 for more than one home office.
3. All the relevant Quicken categories are marked as tax-related. Schedule C and the appropriate expense type is selected. The import assume a new Schedule C business. My business is already established on Schedule C but the import does not give you the option to pick which business the data is to go to. Instead in starts a new dialog to provide name and details about a new business.
Were you able to import anything from Mac? Or are you using a .txf File? I didn't think you could. Here are some links I have.
You can only transfer Quicken into the Turbo Tax Windows Desktop program and not to the Online version. If you need to transfer Quicken to Turbo Tax for Mac or to older Windows tax returns you need to export your Quicken data as a txf file.

How to tansfer Quicken to Turbo Tax using a TXF file

I think you have to use Tags for each business.
As I explained in my question, I use Mac and Quicken desktop software. I exported the Quicken TXF file and imported it to TT. The real estate tax payments imported to TT but all went into primary home bucket. The schedule c expenses went to a new business, not the business I had already established in TT.
