How do you to automatically import a dependant's return.

I am trying to automatically import a dependant's return.  I have created a separate return for my son and I am trying to link and automatically transfer tuition deductions to myself.  If I have another return completed, the Help screen indicates to select the drop down menu on the first name box.  There is no drop down box.

You cannot link individual tax returns. Your son will have to indicate on his return that he is transferring tuition to a parent, and then you will have to claim the transfer on your return. In addition, you will have to list him as a dependant on your return to indicate you are receiving a tuition transfer from your son.
