your stock answers just relate to how to use the schedules I mentioned. I am trying to find out about product differences between the Basic and Standard Turbotax software
TurboTax Basic includes all the schedules you are looking for, however it does not organize your info, identify tax savings or provide automatic calculations or optimizing features like TurboTax Standard or higher versions.
Basic will suggest you upgrade, but you can decline. You could always give it a go in TurboTax Basic and then upgrade as you go if you find you'd like that extra help. When you upgrade, your data already entered will carry over and you'll pick up right where you left off.
Just remember, once you "upgrade" to a higher version of TurboTax, you cannot "downgrade".
