How do I go about entering details of a house sale where the former spouse ran away with all of the money?
As per CRA: When you sell your home or when you are considered to have sold it, usually you do not have to pay tax on any gain from the sale because of the principal residence exemption. If your husband took all the money- that becomes a lawyers issue and not tax.
