Turbo Tax is telling me I need to upgrade when I don't have rental income, even when I check off no. 2022 information transferred to 2023 return but I removed it ?
I sold rental property in 2022 and reported Capital Gains on that return.

Unfortunately, it doesn't matter if you remove the information. Once TurboTax Online has been upgraded, then you can't revert back.
In your case, you would have to start you return over without transferring your info from last year, if you don't need the upgrade.
