I’ve printed and mailed my tax return, however it still says it’s in progress when I check this app. Also how can I deposit my tax refund?

Unfortunately, TurboTax Online will still show your return as "in progress" if you mail it in, as unlike with NETFILE, there's no way for the program to confirm that you have actually mailed it.
