Was a Quebec resident for 6 months, now a deemed non-resident of Canada - what is the best way forward

Hello,

I was living and working in Quebec from Jan 01 2022 until June 28 2022 when I became a deemed non-resident of Canada as I have moved to New Zealand and there is a tax treaty.

I know that we can't file online, so what would be the best product for me to purchase since I would need to do both Canadian and Revenue Quebec filing as a non-resident, and then print my paperwork and mail it in? If I purchase full service, will I still be able to print the returns since part of the service is having the account upload it to NetFile/NetFile Quebec?

You would need to do two returns. One for the federal government as a deemed non-resident, and then another with your Province as Quebec, so that you can access the Quebec forms.

You would have to print and mail both returns.

Full service is not able to do non-resident returns.
