Can I claim expenses used to purchase equipment, such as a blood pressure cuff and diagnostic tools, that are required in my studies in chiropractic college?
Eligible tuition fees do not include the following amounts: ..... goods of enduring value that are to be retained by
students (such as a microscope, uniform, gown, or
computer)..... Your equipment would have an enduring value and therefore is not eligible. To know for future if you open your own practice you would be able to expense these with an opening CCA value.
