Full-time employed with part-time self-employment as Realtor - Canada.

I am wondering if I had a full-time job all year 2017 and also started my own realtor business (part-time) - no income from the realtor business, but extensive setup expenses.  Do I use the small business version version or add self-employment on my personal tax return.  All expenses of business was paid by myself as a personal expenses towards my business.

If your business is not incorporated, you need to file your self-employment expenses (and income) on your personal (T1) return.
