I got your private message. The amounts of all the boxes 21 from the T3s are still not transferring to line 68140 Box A on the T691.
it does not let me net file with this error.
Please help me with this.
I have the same issue. The latest email I got about errors says Error 95365 was fixed on April 8th. It has not been fixed. The part about boxes 52 and 53 may be fixed but not the main issue.
The T3 box 21 amounts transfer into box 17600 but not into box 68140 when a person has capital losses from a T5008.
Please advise if this is part of the fix we all hope for on April 14th.
My t3 total for capital gains is not transferring to line 68140.
I just updated turbo tax but still not working
when will this be fixed or is there an override option
Have you seen a fix yet?
Still waiting. I believe they are hoping the update planned for April 14th fixes this but who knows.
I believe it is an error that only happens when you have losses on T5008. In my case Box 1 on Chart A in T936 is a negative number (as it should be if you have capital losses). My suspicion is that if you read the description for Box 1 Chart A if it is a negative number it is not supposed to show as a negative number but as a number in brackets. My suspicion is that by Box 1 not populating correctly in brackets the remainder of Chart A (including box 68140) does not populate.
I am having the exact same issue. Intuit said that Error 95365 was resolved. I followed their instructions to combine capital gains in Boxes 52 and 53 and put them all in Box 53. I also rounded items. And they are the same as Box 21. Still rejected by CRA. Then I searched further and found reference to line 68140 as part of the issue. Well this line is not equal to Line 17600 or the rest of capital gains calcs in my return. It shows as zero. Intuit keeps saying these issues are the with CRA but it seems that the program itself is not populating lines properly. My software is up to date. Zero resolution provided. I hope others are also planning to abandon Turbotax next year. Horrible experience after many years and poor service aside I would also prefer to support a Canadian company going forward.
