schedule 100 - I am trying to complete retained earnings section. Under 3660 (start earnings I put last years retained earnings then 3680 net income and then 3700 dividends declared . I expect start retained earnings + income - dividends = 3849 end retained earnings but the system adds them instead why ?
This is a little difficult to answer without seeing the return in question but retained earnings is brought in from the Schedule 125(S125) for both current year and previous year column.
