How to enter Ontario "Staycation" expenses.

Unfortunately, the Ontario Staycation credit is not finalized at the Canada Revenue Agency yet. An adjustment will need to be done at a later date if you file before it is ready. Note: Printing or filing of your return is not available till February 21. Once Netfile and printing is available, the credit will be available in the return.

CRA advised me today that all finalized tax forms have been released to tax software providers and it's on Turbo Tax to update the software so we can all e-file our returns.  The message displayed to me is don't file until your next release with the correct forms, when will that be?

Please send us a screenshot of what you see as we tried to duplicate the issue but ours is working in Online version as seen below.

This item is not closed, see a new thread for errors not resolved yet.  Certain versions of turbotax will not let you efile if you're claiming this credit.

If Online software is being used, there is no problem entering the Ontario Staycation. If you are using the CD/Download software you need to enter the credit by using the Easy-Step mode which will allow your claim. You can then return to the Forms View.
