I am a freelancer, and I've taken online and on site workshops related to my area. Can I deduct those? If yes, would that be under Business Travel Expenses? Thanks!

The “Travel” section is for things like train tickets, air fare, hotel, etc. You can put your expenses in the “Other Expenses” box.

However, if you have a T2202A - Tuition, Education, and Textbook Amounts Certificate or a receipt showing that you have eligible tuition for the online courses, you can put those under Deductions>Students>Tuition Fees. This will allow you to transfer any unused tuition to a spouse, parent or grandparent. You can’t claim it both as tuition and a business expense, though.
