If buy two self-employed packages c will it let me sync my return with my wife?

If you prepare your return together with your wife, then you will both be using the same version of TurboTax. So if you are using TurboTax Online, you will be charged for 2 self-employed returns. If you use TurboTax CD/Download, then that will count as 2 returns in your return counter.
