    I purchased TurboTax 2019 desktop edition. Does it only work for tax year 2019 filings, or can it work for 2020 and future years too?

    I purchased TurboTax 2019 desktop edition. Does it only work for tax year 2019 filings, or can it work for 2020 and future years too?

    The software will only work for the year that you are filing. 

     

    Therefore next year when completing your 2020 return you will need to use TurboTax 2020 to file your return.
