can we use each an online individual pppptax return for 2013 if we want to file jointly???
There is no joint filing in Canada. You will each have to file a return regardless of whether they are connected for tax purposes. When you open the first return, file as married, and report your spouses income, it may ask if you want to do the returns at the same time. You will have two separate returns to pay for and separate entries for each return. They will also be netfiled separately. Since you don't have to pay for the online version until you are ready to print or netfile, I would recommend giving it a try.
